Profile - The Studio of Greg Anthony Thomas

Greg Anthony Thomas is a multi-disciplinary, independent and collaborative designer based out of Austin, Texas. He specializes in brand identity systems, custom lettering, package design and illustration. He's worked and works with a diverse group of clients accross all industries creating memorable brand experiences.

As a Lead Designer, Greg works to build and develop unique brands through personality driven design with a distinct eye for details. From initial design exploration through full packaging and collateral development Greg thrives in developing crafted brand systems that stand the test of time. He’s a maker and a creative thinker with a detailed approach towards conceptual and visual problem solving.

Greg holds a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communication from St. Edward’s University here in Austin. From there, Greg made his way working at agencies such as GSD&M, McGarrah Jessee, and smaller design studios like Foxtrot. At each of his stops he’s honed his craft and gained experience working on national and multinational brands like Southwest Airlines, Chipotle and L.L. Bean, as well as working with local Austin brands like SXSW and Homeslice Pizza. Along the way, Greg’s received recognition and awards from Communication Arts, Graphis, Print Magazine, Brand New and even won a Gold & Judges Choice Addy.

Greg lives in South Austin with his girlfriend and two pups, Winston and Brisket. When he’s not in the office, you can find Greg biking around town, playing soccer or hanging with friends at Zilker Park.
